Ice Poles Skyllermarks Black

Ice Poles are your way of interpreting the ice. Before you cross an edge or a point where the ice changes color or appearance, you test the ice with an ice pole. Otherwise, you may enter too thin ice. A functioning ice pole will pierce several centimeters of ice in a single blow, this way you can determine if the ice will hold or fail.

The ice poles from Skyllermarks are made with strong, lightweight aluminum tubes and narrow tips of hardened steel (10mm), keeping their sharpness over time.
Both ice poles in this pair are identical, therefore comfortable to use as poles or support if you encounter uneven ice. The special handles enable you to quickly attach the two poles together as a single unit.

Long, isolating foam handles ensure warmth and comfort whilst carrying and skating with our poles. Reflexes on the poles will make you visible in the dark. 

The handles have a "fall safe" - a large contact area at the bottom of the handle to avoid hands slipping down the pole if you suddenly need the poles to support your balance.

Rubber guards are included for the tips. The are also sold separate if needed.

Two lengths are available. The handles are removable to allow you cutting the pole shorter to your desired length.
