  • Blade Guards – Keep your skates in tip-top shape

Skyllermarks blade guards make it easy to take your skates to and from the ice. The blade guards keep your blades sharp while allowing moisture from snow and slush to evaporate without your blades rusting.

  • The Möja Ice Claw – For personal safety

Skyllermarks Möja Ice Claw features an easy-grip handle and a tip designed to ensure the claw optimally penetrates the ice. The Möja Ice Claw comes with a whistle fitted with clips so you can attach it easily to your jacket collar. Keep your ice claw pulled up under your chin so it is easy to get at and won’t hit you in the face if you fall on the ice.

  • Knee and Elbow Pads – For close encounters of the hard-ice kind

Moisture repellent and warming knee and elbow pads soften the impact if you stumble on the ice. The knee pads also provide extra comfort when you are putting on or taking off your skates. Elbow Pads – now perforated for ventilation. The perforated cellular plastic keeps your elbows warm without making you sweaty.

  • Hansa Ice Claw

Lightweight and easy to use with a narrow, tempered steel tip that grabs even when the ice is hard. The lowered handle puts your hands closer to the ice. When you then angle the claw, you will have considerably more power in your wrists - something you need to have the strength to pull yourself up out of a hole in the ice. Whistle included.

  •   The Hansa Lifeline – Classic lifeline used by the Swedish Police and Rescue Services

Every second counts when an accident happens and a skater has fallen through the ice. An easy-to-handle lifeline that can be accurately thrown even in a headwind is indispensable. The Hansa Lifeline is a strong rescue line whose design makes it easy to throw to someone in trouble and it glides well even on bumpy ice.

As soon as it hits the water, the side with the lockable hand-loop automatically turns upwards. The person in trouble can secure the loop around the wrist and be towed out of the water with no risk of losing grip.

  • The Hansa Lifeline BÅT (BOAT)
    – Built-in rescue harness

Man overboard! When that cry is heard, you have to have a strong lifeline at the ready. The Hansa Lifeline Båt is stored in a light-protective bag that makes it possible to install the lifeline on deck in full sunlight. You can quickly throw out the bag with the 30-meter long line and built-in lift loops and rescue harness. As soon as it hits the water, the rescue line floats with the loop side up. When the person in trouble pulls on the loop, a rescue/lift harness ejects from the bag. The person straps on the harness, tightens it, and can be towed back onboard with the aid loops. The lift loops can also be used with a sailboat’s halyards to tow the person being rescued the last, difficult part of the way.
Fully extended, the Hansa Lifeline BÅT can also be used as a lifesling.

  • The Isa Lifeline – Basic rescue line for skaters

A basic throw line for people who want a more compact format and a lower price. The compactness of the Isa Lifeline means you must have good skills to throw accurately in an emergency. For that reason, the Isa Lifeline is suitable for those who can already throw accurately or who are willing to practice.

  • Skyllermarks Balance Poles – Visible  in the winter dark

Skyllermarks balance poles are good-looking: deep, rich black with red reflectors and details. More importantly, the sharp, durable tips give you a superb foothold on the ice. You’ll need to thrust often to learn how these super-sharp poles “read” the ice.

Skating with Skyllermarks poles of equal weight allows you to maintain good balance on bumpy ice. When the ice is smooth and you are skating with the poles under your arms, they link easily together with the specially designed grips. The insulation just below the grips on each pole keeps the cold away from your body.

    Lengths: 125, 135, 145, and 155 cm
Custom lengths up to 160 cm available by special order

  • The Hansa Pole

The graduated three-stage tip tells you loud and clear when the ice's load-bearing capacity changes. The bottom section of the tip is angled, making it easy to pierce holes, e.g., to check the thickness of the ice. Floats in water.

  • Dual Hansa Pole

Patent applied for, effective, and finely balanced ice probe with an extra pole. Use the probe to pierce the ice and get advance warning before it has become too weak, even while skating. Grips with three poling positions plus palm position for efficient poling, e.g., for crossing open channels. And of course the pole floats.

  • The Ice Gauge – Tells you whether the ice will hold

Skyllermarks Ice Gauge was designed to work with the kind of holes poles make in ice. When the pole penetrates the ice, a hole is formed. Its diameter is smallest at the surface of the ice, while underneath, the pole has knocked chips out of the ice, meaning the hole is actually conical.

Skyllermarks Ice Gauge is made of plastic soft enough to be screwed down into a small hole and hard enough to spread out under the ice rim. The Ice Gauge can measure up to 13 cm of ice and is a useful tool for judging the thickness of the ice.

    Design protected.

  •   Swift and sure with a sharper glide

The right technique means everything to a successful skating tour. Once your glide has become instinctive, you can help keep yourself on the right track by always keeping your blades sharp. Sharp blades bite best and give you more power on long-distance tours.

Sharpening kit with jig and stone – stay sharp all season long

Once or twice a season, you should have your skates professionally sharpened and set at the right skating curve. Then all you have to do is keep them sharp. The best way to accomplish that is to sharpen your blades after every tour. Secure them to the jig as shown in the picture and draw the stone firmly back and forth until the blade is sharp enough to cut your fingernail when you pass it carefully along the edge of the blade.

Diamond Sharpening Stone – The featherweight that gives you perfect sharpness

Skyllermarks Diamond Stone is light and easy to use. The double-sided stone (coarse/fine) makes it easy to achieve extra fine sharpness without having to push too hard. The Diamond Stone measures 170 mm and weighs only 46 grams. A jig small and light enough to take along is available as an accessory (weight approx. 60 grams).

How do you use the diamond stone?

  • Extra Side Pocket for the Backpack

Most lifelines will fit into Skyllermarks side pocket. The pocket can be attached to any backpack with a compression strap. Thread the straps through the holes in the pocket in various ways to determine the best position for your lifeline. Once the pocket is attached, insert your lifeline and tighten the pocket opening enough to keep the lifeline inside even when you bend over, but loosely enough so that you can get the lifeline out fast when you need it.

Skyllermarks extra side pocket includes a strap that is fastened to the lifeline at one end and to the waist strap of the backpack at the other. The included hook-and-loop fasteners keep the strap in place while you are skating.
